2025
Start of the Hjerpe Fellowship
During the first days of the Hjerpe Fellowship, the Fellow will spend time in Chicago reviewing their entire schedule for the next two years and familiarizing themselves with the LMS (Learning Management System), which will contain all the academic curricula and other pertinent materials. The Fellow will also be introduced to the Board of Directors, the Module Instructors, and the leadership of the Booth School of Business. Additionally, the Fellow will kick off their first week of academic module instruction.

Executive MBA Kick-Off Week in Chicago
Your program begins with a Kick-Off Week in Chicago, with your classmates from all three cohorts, from all over the world. During the Kick-Off week, you will have the chance to take a pre-course called Analytical Methods. This required but non-graded in-person course is expected to improve participation and comprehension. The goal is to ensure students understand this baseline material before the graded degree coursework begins.
This is followed by international session weeks in London and Hong Kong.
Chicago classes meet over Thursday, Friday, and Saturday sessions four times a quarter.
2027
MBA Graduation Ceremony
Your global class gathers in Chicago for an Executive MBA celebration and University-wide graduation activities. Although it’s the end of the Executive MBA Program, it’s just the beginning of your lifelong connection with the worldwide Chicago Booth network.
Fellowship Ends
During the last several weeks of the Fellow’s second-year Fellowship, the Fellow, having finished their academic curriculum and case studies, shall present a capstone-style project to the Module Instructors and the Board. This presentation will demonstrate the Fellow’s full understanding and future application of these learnings. Upon a positive outcome of these presentations and the completion of the Executive MBA, the Fellow shall be honored with the Dr. Charles A. Hjerpe Fellowship Award.
